 Jal Feldman is a music professional who
specializes in piano teaching and performance. He utilizes the innovative Suzuki “ear-before-eye” music
teaching approach, based on the natural way that children learn language. His teaching skills reflect
in-depth study and knowledge of music, psychology and child development. He has an M.A. from Sonoma State University,
has trained extensively in the Suzuki method and teaches at festivals of the Washington State Suzuki Association.
He is a faculty member at the Music Center of the Northwest, a 20-year-old music school in Seattle.
Jal's teaching is extremely child-focused, emphasizing development of character. Jal has played the piano for over 45 years and taught
as a Suzuki piano teacher for more than fifteen years. He has served as pianist at the Center for Spiritual Living and Bet Alef
Synogogue for sixteen years. He was the founder,
leader and pianist of The Jal Feldman Groups, a wide-ranging musical entertainment service. |
